The 3rd Primary School of Zografou is a public Primary School in a suburb 5km away from the Greek capital centre. It numbers 271 pupils of 6-12 years of age and 32 members of teaching staff. It has got a long tradition in national and European projects and has gained the local community respect as a small but dynamic educational institution. Since it is located very close to the University of Athens, it hosts future Greek, English and French language teachers for their practicum period every year. The school has  implemented two Comenius multilateral projects (SEP Students’ Environment Parliament 2007-2009 and ABC The Art of Being a Child 2011-2013), two Erasmus+KA1 projects (STEPS through Erasmus+ 2014-2015, the second is currently running BASICS for Democracy focusing on the development of the democratic school idea) and it is also implementing a KA201 project (UTOPIA 2019-2021) on outdoor and community-based learning. It has also run many e-Twinning projects and received National and European Quality Labels.

Our school is a member of the Ecological Schools family and has a long tradition in cultural tradition activities and events participation.
