Considering the great achievements of the United States, most of them are men, including Martin Luther King, Thomas Edison, Jane Adams, John Brown, and Louis Armstrong. Of course, I may not be familiar with it, but it is true that most of the American social textbooks are full of stories of men who have shaped American history with political decisions, brave actions and admirable actions. You may wonder if it's because there are more men than women who have done great things of the time, but that's not true. Despite their great achievements, I thought that simply living as someone's wife, mother, and daughter was due to the environment, social status, pressure, and prejudice that prevented them. Despite such adversity, I felt respect for the lives of women who tried and sacrificed to build a country and improve the treatment of their own people. This book deals with the great women who made American history, and I thought I wanted to learn about the women who made Korean history and think about ways to remember them in our history.
