I recently read a book, JUST ASK! And i wanna share with you this story :)
The plot of this story is:
Children with personalities who are often pointed out as "weird" in society introduce themselves and ask questions to other friends. From children suffering from diabetes and asthma to hearing-impaired children, each introduces its own diversity, and it shows us that depending on individual characteristics in a slightly different way, everyone shares the same world together.
After reading this, I came up with two questions! Please leave comments below this:)
First question,
Asking about a friend's differences is a good way to understand him/her, but it can also be too rude if you don't consider his/her feelings. Can I ask about my friend's differences without hurting his/her feelings?
Second question,
There are so many people in the world who are not recognized for diversity. What mindset is needed to respect diversity?
Like the title, ‘ASKING’ is a very important step towards respecting diversity. Just as diverse flowers gather to create a beautiful garden, a harmonious society can be created through polite, learned, and respected attitudes. I can answer the last question in the book, "What will you do with you powers?" I’ll strive to create a society in which diversity differentiated, is taken for granted by accepting and understanding differences with an open mind.
And i wii add my project material, COVID-19. Thank you for reading it!
