I read wonderful fairy tale book!

I read 'we are grateful otsaliheliga'

Have you ever read this book?

The reason why i chose this book is because i didn't read many English book,so i thought i would read a fairy tale book first, and i chose this book because i wanted to read the contents of this book because the pictures were colorful.

I'll tell you what this book is about.

Cherokee people say 'otsaliheliga' to express gratitude.Saying it is a reminder to celebrate the blessings of the cherokee people and reflect on the struggle.

They do something interesting by the season, and every season they say 'otsaliheliga' because they are happy.

People in a country called cherokee have a good relationship with each other, live farming, share food with each other, recall the sacrifices of their ancestors, and love their country.

After reading this book, I felt cozy with beautiful paintings and peaceful contents!

The author of this book is American, and I felt that she wanted American children to live in cherokee or something in the future.

Dear partner students,

we also studied the Cherokee history here after reading the same book. We read the book in our school garden and then we discussed the wonderful messages it sends. You can find more information about the way we worked under Teaching Resources....

Here is some music which helped us dive deeper in the books meaning.
