<Who Was George Washington?>

Today, I'd like to introduce you about a book I read.

I read <Who Was George Washington?>, written by Roberta Edwards. In world history class, I learned about George Washington: he is the first president of US, and he had a lot of effect on democracy of US. Recently, I have a dream about the international lawyer who makes adjustments of global conflicts of Northeast Asia. As to global conflict between China and US, I think I can understand about historical backgrounds of US and their position by reading this book. So, I decided to read <Who Was George Washington?>.

This book is talking about George Washington, who is the first president of US. It is starting from the summary of his life, who was the first president which is selected not descent but selection of one countries' vote, to his achievements.

While reading this book, I thought about one's effect on a country. Especially, George was the first president of a country so his decisions could have much more effects than others, but he is still thought the best president by people. Through this, I thought that in the position of determining or executing a law it is important to not only execute right laws but also do on right will, having right personality.

After reading, I made a bookmark with a text I wrote: If someone asked who is the start point of democracy, just let raise your had and look at this book.

Last, I'd like to ask you guys some questions:

  1. Who is the most famous or important people to contribute your countries' democracy you think?

  2. What is the important thing in democracy you think? (people who effect right things, laws, educations, and so on)

Thank you for reading my text :)
